I am seeing USB audio driver installation messages almost every day.Ī. For yesterday I see a USB Audio Device Successful Driver installation message. For today around the time I plugged in the Logitech USB device I see a Successful Driver installation. I can see informational events every day. This shows "reliability and problem history". Looking in the Event Viewer and can see messages when the device is added but am not able to identify any message related to when the device stops working.
Wait a few days, maybe a restart happens, then plug the Logitech back in and both USB headsets start working again, for a while. The integrated speakers work, and the Jabra phone sound works but no sound from the PC through the USB Jabra connection. I test each day and the Jabra USB audio is not working. I remove the USB Logitech head set but leave the Jabra in. Restarting the system does not change the result. Try playing various sounds from the Sound tab and the sound comes out the Realtek integrated speakers even when the USB headset is set as the default device. Go to Sound Control panel and can see the devices, can set the Logitech headset as default sound but no sound comes out the headset. Tried uninstalling devices and rescanning and they are found again and drivers found and still no sound. So connected a Logitech USB headset to spare USB port and both the Jabra and the Logitech start to work. Only the Dell Latitude E7270 integrated Realtek Audio Speakers sound worked. Jabra works fine with the phone but some time later when I tried playing sound through the computer to the headset no sound. I have admin rights but this is a wired network laptop with GPO policies.Ĭonnected a Jabra 9450 Pro head set to a Cisco phone and the USB cable to the computer port. Had to update windows 7 laptop to Windows 10.
